Your concerns.
My priorities.
Our victories.
I believe in a Connecticut where everyone can afford to thrive. That’s why one of my top priorities is to pursue equitable taxation to bring much-needed relief to working families and seniors. I also believe in reducing our reliance on property taxes, changing zoning law to better support all citizens, blocking harmful AI data centers, and supporting state‑subsidized childcare with inclusive hours to meet all families where they are.
Affordability
I will fight for the implementation of Medicare for All by building on HUSKY Health. I will also work to pursue grants and regional collaboration to keep our district safe through proper funding of the fire department. I also firmly believe in empowering unarmed mental health crisis responders as well as state‑mandated mental health supports in public schools to preserve our neighbors’ dignity and nurture wellness during adolescence.
Public Health
As an active community member, I have seen the many ways in which political gatekeepers forget they’re working for you. As your representative, I will fight to make local policy accessible and welcoming to all generations. In addition to term limits, I also seek to support my neighbors’ civic engagement by creating structured mentorship programs for young people entering decision-making arenas. I am also committed to investing in community spaces and improving low‑cost or free public transportation to promote everyday community engagement.
Accessibility
I seek to revise outdated fiscal guardrails at the state level so fair sums of revenue reach our public schools reliably. I am also committed to protecting and expanding special education funding to ensure all students’ needs are addressed equitably. Furthermore, I am a champion for defending a curriculum inclusive of the humanities & liberal arts to invest in leaders armed with an informed, global perspective.
